By accessing or using Shared Mailbox ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Shared Mailbox is a collaborative email management platform that allows teams to connect, view, and manage multiple email accounts in a unified interface. Our Service provides:

• Integration with email providers (Gmail, Microsoft Outlook) via OAuth
• Unified inbox view for connected email accounts
• Calendar integration and event viewing
• Team collaboration features for shared inbox management
• WhatsApp business message monitoring (where applicable)

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must:

• Create an account using valid credentials
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly update your information if it changes
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

4. OAuth Authorization

Our Service requires you to authorize access to your email accounts through OAuth (Open Authorization). By granting this authorization, you:

• Consent to the Service accessing your email and calendar data as described in our Privacy Policy
• Understand that you can revoke this access at any time through your email provider's security settings
• Acknowledge that the Service will only access data necessary to provide its functionality

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Transmit spam, malware, or other harmful content

6. Team and Shared Inbox Access

When using team collaboration features:

• Account owners are responsible for managing team member access
• You should only grant access to trusted team members
• Team members can view and interact with emails in their assigned inboxes
• Account owners can revoke team member access at any time
• You are responsible for ensuring your team members comply with these Terms

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Shared Mailbox and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You retain all rights to your email content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to access and display your email content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

8. Third-Party Services

Our Service integrates with third-party services including Google (Gmail, Calendar) and Microsoft (Outlook). Your use of these integrations is subject to the terms and policies of those third-party providers.

We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party services.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHARED MAILBOX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Shared Mailbox and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Shared Mailbox operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Shared Mailbox regarding the use of the Service.
